Sega's Ghost Squad is a gun shooting game where players assume the character of a member of a special force< "Ghost Squad," whose mission is to deactivate bombs and rescue hostages. The players' experience in the game is enhanced with the sub-machine gun style contollers that vibrate when fired. Ghost Squad features the IC card option, so players can save their weapon information and the level they are up to in the game, and return to play at the same point at a later time. The machine features an action button, through which players can access the shot selector menu. The shots players can choose from are single engine discharge, three shot (rapid) fire and continuous fire. The action button is also used for grappling with enemies and deactivating bombs.
